How to choose a Samsung Galaxy Watch strap
1. Check the case size and attachment
These watches use three different attachment types:
- Group 1, standard 20 mm spring bar: Galaxy Watch 4, 4 Classic, 5, 5 Pro, 6, 6 Classic and 7, plus Watch Active 2 and Watch FE. Check the product page for the exact models listed.
- Group 2, Dynamic Lug System: Galaxy Watch 8 and 8 Classic. These need straps made for the Watch 8 attachment.
- Group 3, Ultra attachment: Galaxy Watch Ultra. This needs a strap made for the Ultra attachment.
A standard 20 mm spring-bar strap does not fit Watch 8 or Watch Ultra. Check your exact model.

2. Use: sport, smart, casual or outdoor
- Sport: breathable silicone, perforated silicone and woven nylon for running and training
- Casual: two-colour silicone, soft leather and breathable nylon for work or weekends
- Smart: milanese mesh, Italian leather, stainless steel links and brushed titanium for evenings
- Outdoor: nylon, titanium and vintage leather for time outside
3. Material
Silicone is light and easy to clean after sport. Leather needs more care around water and sweat. Milanese mesh adjusts with a magnetic clasp. Stainless steel links and titanium offer metal finishes for wearing your Galaxy Watch at work.
